I am becoming increasingly prouder of the direction I’m going with DMIC3. I’m strengthening the characters already established, and adding a few more, one in particular who has quickly become a favourite.
The whole process has been very personal and for this I’m unravelling the very depths of myself. It’s really quite interesting really how I’ve turned a story about a man who dresses up like a dog from his desire to be a superhero, into something that’s the most soul provoking thing I’ve ever done. It’s reached the point in writing where it’s beginning to all fall together, all three books, in ways I didn’t expect it to.
